A few years ago I was in Rajasthan India, a part of the world filled with the most beautiful antique doors, which beckoned indiscriminately towards humble homes and ornate palaces alike. These are a few examples from my trip. I have also include a shot I took on the Inca Trail of a doorway high up in the mountains, looking out onto the misty mountainside. I think this photo captures the ‘otherworldliness’ of this place quite well..

Lovely photos, Az. The patterning on the Indian doors is beautiful, and I agree that the doorway from the Inca Trail has a really ‘otherworldly’ feel. You are such a well-travelled lady! 🙂

You’ll travel again, one day, Az. I had many years of not being able to go very far at all when all my six were young. I’ve made up for it in later years, but I’ve still got a lot of places I’m desperate to see. Babies are wonderful. Enjoy them while you can. 🙂

I live in hope Millie :p it’s hard to see the bigger picture sometimes when you’re caught in the daily grind- but one day…!

I know the ‘daily grind’ all too well – but it does pass. Funnily enough, having my children all young were probably the happiest days of my life. I know it’s hard work, frustrating and all the rest, but now, I’d give anything to have those times again. I have lots of great memories and photos to keep me going. 🙂

That’s what I keep getting told- to enjoy these previous years before they’re over.. And I can see it already to be honest, baby No 1 will be 4 soon and the time has flown! 🙂

They’re always so much cuter when you can hand them back to someone else eventually!
